Graten eruit en vel eraf. Stukken in ovenschaal leggen. 2,5 ui + 2 teentjes knoflook fijn snijden en fruiten in een beetje olie. Voeg 1theelepel djahe, 1 groot salamblad, 2 stukjes loas, 0,5 theelepel koenjit, 1 eetlepel sambal, beetje zout of 0,5 bouillonblokje toevoegen. 2 tomaten uit diepvries ontvellen door er heet water over te gieten. Ontvelde tomaten in stukken snijden en toevoegen bij mengsel in pan. Water erbij en laten koken. Halve citroen in plakken snijden en mee laten koken bij mengsel.
